Do I need makeup experience?
Not at all. Whether you've never picked up a makeup brush or have years of experience, every lesson is customized to your current skill level.
How long are lessons?
Most private lessons last approximately 1.5-2 hours depending on your goals and learning pace.
What should I bring?
Your current makeup, brushes, everyday skincare, a makeup sponge and lash curler if applicable, and any inspiration photos. Using your own products lets me teach you how to get the most from what you already own.
Do you provide makeup?
We'll primarily use the makeup you already own. If additional products would better suit your needs, I'll provide personalized recommendations after your lesson.
Do you sell makeup?
No - my goal is education, not sales. Instead of selling products directly, I recommend products, shades, and tools tailored to your skin tone, features, goals, and budget.
Do you sell brushes?
Yes. Professional brush kits are available as an optional add-on for clients who want to build or upgrade their collection.
Are lessons private?
Yes. Private lessons are one-on-one and designed exclusively around your goals. Group lessons are available for clients wishing to learn with friends or family.
Can I bring someone with me?
Private lessons are reserved exclusively for the registered participant. Friends and family may attend only if they've booked as participants in a group lesson.
Do you offer lessons for teens?
Absolutely. Teen lessons focus on age-appropriate makeup, skincare education, healthy habits, and confidence. Clients under 18 require a parent or legal guardian to complete booking.
Do you travel for makeup lessons?
Limited on-location lessons may be available depending on your location, group size, and my event schedule. Travel fees apply.
Will I receive product recommendations?
Yes - personalized recommendations for makeup, brushes, tools, and shades selected for your skin tone, skin type, face shape, lifestyle, goals, and budget, spanning both drugstore favorites and luxury brands.
Can I schedule another lesson later?
Absolutely. Brush-Up Lessons are perfect for learning new techniques, refining your routine, or updating your makeup as your needs evolve.

Booking Policies

To provide every client with the highest level of service, the following policies apply to all makeup lessons.

Booking & Retainer
A non-refundable retainer is required to reserve your lesson date and time. Because your appointment is reserved exclusively for you, all retainers are non-refundable.
Rescheduling
Life happens. One complimentary reschedule is permitted with a minimum of 48 hours' notice, subject to availability. Additional reschedules or cancellations require a new retainer.
Availability
Lessons are by appointment only, most often Monday through Thursday. Limited Friday and weekend appointments may be available depending on my wedding and event schedule.
Private Lessons
Private lessons are currently offered exclusively for women and are limited to the registered participant. To learn alongside friends or family, please book a Group Makeup Lesson.
Holiday Appointments
Appointments on New Year's Eve and Day, Easter, Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas Eve and Day are subject to a $500 Holiday Premium. Holiday weekends may be subject to a $300 premium. Holiday appointments are limited and accepted at Angeline Jasmin Beauty's discretion.
